Caspar
Caspar works in growth and is cringe enough to have Jordan Belfort as his laptop wallpaper. Boxing and running track as a kid mainly taught him he's better off behind a desk. He loves talking to up-and-coming founders and hearing the messy stories behind their journeys. Jason thinks he's weird because he impersonates Mike Tyson on a daily basis.
Jason
Jason doesn't drink, so he has no real idea what he's doing here. He was headed for a professional martial arts career until startups got him first, and quotes Breaking Bad often enough that it leaked into our brand identity. Right now he's building something in stealth he refuses to explain. Caspar thinks he's weird because he can't fall asleep without rain sounds.
We started GABWAF because we wanted to share the conversations young founders usually only have off camera.
Most startup conversations sound the same after a while: funding, product, growth. All of that matters. But it rarely explains the person who actually builds the company. GABWAF is our attempt to get closer to that.
