Why it matters
Max names it as the thing that shaped him most, because it got him talking to founders while he was still at school. What stayed with him was not the pitches. It was that these people were simply going after what they wanted, and how much fun they had with a world that takes itself extremely seriously.
How to use it
The event is gone, so treat the format as the point rather than the venue. Any evening where founders talk about what they are actually building does the same job, and school is not too early to turn up.
